New scottish anchorages website

Post by steveyates »

If you remember the old one, and how useful it was until it died, you’ll be pleased to see Charles has built a new one.

This is also very useful, someone posted a link to the antares charts text from their website on the other place, and in firefox you can save as a pdf, thus having a really useful document to peruse and plan future explorations.I never even knew this existed.

Much simpler than opening each anchorage one at a time in memory maps :)

I think the Antares compendium is based on the 2024 website. There may be updates on the new site - I haven't checked.

Can you explain what the Antares compendium is? I just add the charts to Memory Map for All and update each year, I am not aware of anything else. Sounds like a good idea.

What's that? Dunno! Should we be worried about that? Dunno! How? Ah dunno!

I think you are spot on about that. I think there are updates with the new site, as he mentioned his book he used to do as print on demand was out of date and it was just much easier to update stuff online. He also mentioned that he was hoping to find a way to put the new website into a similar pdf download if he found the time.
