Stopping near Corran

Just back from a short jaunt to Corran. We stayed overnight on a mooring just north of the Corran Narrows on the west side. Large grey buoys (about 6) with a shackle on top but no pickup. Apparently the nearby fish farm provides them FREE to discourage anchoring in the area. There's no indication of max boat size. There was a lot of noise (fish farm auto feeding?) but it stopped at 6pm and only started up at about 9am. It's very handy for The Inn at Ardgour which does food but you should book ahead.

Then we tried the anchorage at Camas Shallachain, south of Corran Narrows, detailed by Antares Charts. Delightful spot but not much shelter. There was serious difficulty raising the anchor which was more heavily covered in weed than I've ever seen before. It was all the long sheet type. Much of the weight was in large stones that the weed was firmly attached to.

fish farm noise and light pollution is annoying
I wonder how much use those get?
